REIMBURSEMENT STATISTIC

PAYING BANK FOR THE INSURED DEPOSITS
The reimbursement of the deposits for the depositors of Radobank AD Skopje shall be carried out through Univerzalna Investiciona banka AD Skopje.
The reimbursement of the deposits for the depositors of the Savings house Kiro Kucuk DOO Veles shall be carried out through ProCredit banka AD Skopje.
The reimbursement of the deposits of Makedonska banka AD Skopje shall be carried out through Komercijalna banka AD Skopje, for the depositors in Skopje, and through Stopanska banka AD Skopje, for the depositors in other places of the country.
The reimbursement of the deposits for the depositors of the Savings house Inko DOO Skopje shall be carried out through Komercialna banka AD Skopje.
The reimbursement of the deposits for the depositors of the Savings house Fersped DOO Skopje shall be carried out through the Deposit Insurance Fund Skopje.
REIMBURSEMENTS
From the establishment of the Deposit Insurance Fund until 30/04/2010, during the 13 years the Fund exists in the macedonian environment, 9 risk events have occurred among the Fund's members i.e. 4 banks and 5 savings houses.To the Fund, this meant a potential liability for savers' reimbursement in a total amount of cca 1.5 billion Denars. Most of which (86.68%) or 1.3 billion Denars of the total liability amount is the calculated reimbursement for the savers of Makedonska banka AD Skopje under liquidation. The Deposit Insurance Fund with its' own sources of funds managed to reimburse (up to the total deposits by titulars, within the legal framework) all the savers that showed up at the premises of the paying-banks and that have chosen the way they want to dispose with their own resources from the reimbursement.
Up to 30/04/2010 from the total number of savers of 121,887 of 9 members of the Fund where a risk event occurred, 20,819 savers have been reimbursed up to the amount of cca 1.4 billion Denars. From the total number of savers, 17.08% have been reimbursed but from the total amount of calculated reimbursement in Denars, 93.73% has been carried out. The difference to the total reimbursement amount mostly refers to savers with small balance accounts (between 100.00 and 1,000.00 Denars) as well as to a small group of savers from Makedonska banka under liquidation with large balance accounts, which from the beginning of its' reimbursement period until now have not chosen the way they want to dispose with their outstanding claims from the Fund by virtue of reimbursement.
